My Challenges

   I need to vent my feelings about my challenges this year! This year is my first year in Globaloria and everything is a learning process for me. I have had many stuggles but there is one that I just can't get over. My problem is my parter. The whole Globaloria year has just been on gmail for her. Her friends come in our computer lab and tell her to get on gmail and she does. We had trouble getting done with everything because she was on gmail the whole time. Another problem I have is Adding Scenes. Adding scenes is hard for me because all of the scenes just get me confused. I have to set and think about what colors go on what scene because I have so many scenes. I also have another problem. This problem is the codes that we have to use. That is the one thing my parter does, she is pretty good at the codes. Another problem is remembering to complete my learning log daily. I just can't remember... the only reason I remember to do it is because the teacher tells us too. Thats all the struggles I have experienced this year!!! Thanks for listening.

What I have Accomplished

    We have done alot this year. I feel very accomplished. We also need to make some emprovements. We need to make our game more professional. We need to make our aim button work like we had planed and we need to put some carnival music on our game. We have finished everything on our team page that we are supposed to at the time. We have done alot but we still have a long way to go, we just keep traveling down the computer road.

Our Game Demo

I didn't really learn anything when we were presenting our demo to the class. I think the reason I didn't learn anything was because we already knew everything about our game and the demo. One thing I did learn was that it might be hard for me to do the real presentation. I was imbarassed even in front of the people that I know, my classmates. If I could talk to the journalists and other important people I would ask them to improve our reasourses. We need better computer programs, more profesional than what we have.

Using Flash

     With all that we've done this year my favorite part is working on Flash. Working on Flash makes me feel like I am doing something professional. I like using Flash because it is very simple, we are having a very easy time doing it. I also like it because it alows me to be creative, it is awesome being able to see my ideas unfold in a computer program. Using Flash gives me the opportunity to put my ideas and inspiration on a computer screen. i love using Flash simply for reasons I can not put into words.

Adding Animation!!

This relates to my game because we have used something simalar to this with our "You won" scene and the video is a good example of moving the objects on our game. These animations also stand out to me because they are simalar to our game and they are eye catching.

    

My Struggles....

We have completed alot of things in my first year of Globaloria. I have struggled too. I have struggled with getting myself focused on my task at hand. I have struggled using the codes we have to use. I have had success in doing my buttons. I'm not perfect at doing buttons but I think I have the hang of it. We have finished lots of stuff. We have done mini games, prototypes, and many blogs. I haved loved Globaloria so far and the thing I am looking forward to the most is playing my game when its finished.

A Helpful Link!!! [very helpful]

    This year we are in the STEMS catagory. Since STEMS is math, I tried to find a link that delt with math. The link that I have really helped me get the concept of how math cam about.
